The s.i.r.a. method

S.i.r.a.
methodology involves three stages:
STAGE
1: ON-SITE INVESTIGATION with the purpose of:
| 1 |
making
environmental evaluations and taking acoustical
and dimensional measurements, |
| 2 |
determining the objectives, |
| 3 |
considering all the factors connected with production
and maintenance, |
| 4 |
evaluating
technical loads, |
| 5 |
considering
aesthetical demands. |
STAGE 2: STUDY OF POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
according to two main directives:
| 1 |
active
solutions: evaluation of the existing possibilities
in order to solve the problem in an active way,
modifying working cycles or replacing machine parts
or suggesting suitable maintenance, |
| 2 |
passive
solution through the introduction of soundproofing
means, such as cabins, coverings, silencers, baffles,
and so on.
In both cases our study is concluded with the draft
of a project which is submitted to the client. |
STAGE 3: PROJECT REALIZATION
with the aid of engineers in the case of the active
solution, and with the production of suitable manufactured
parts in the case of the passive solution.
Design
Every s.i.r.a. product has two different stages of design:
- the acoustical stage (from the approach to the problem
to the study of the solution),
- the production stage (from the drawing to the manufacturing).
In both cases, we co-operate with highly skilled technicians
and we use personalized and technologically advanced
software.
All
s.i.r.a. projects include: stating the problem, explaining
the phonometry and damping calculations, describing
the solution and giving acoustical guarantees.
The project can be accompanied by structural calculations.
